Just wondering how everyone signs there lures? With a stencil or a steady hand, Everytime I try It looks like my daughter scribbled on it. Any suggestions?

Was wondering what paint colors to use. To look at a crappie there is a bunch of colors and when you move them in the light they change. Is there a process to follow to layer the colors to make them look life-like?

Wow, This site has so much information. Im from missouri and really enjoy reading all of the post on this site. I've painted some crankbaits but nothing like what I've seen here. Hope to improve my skills and learn from all of the great information here.
