  1. I don't know if they sell em but you can make em pretty easy. It's been discussed before. Lots of variations. .22 shells and bbs is one common way
  2. I've bought rabbit fur and then used 5 minute epoxy to apply it. Let it set up a couple of minutes first. Then clamp it on and let it dry. I had to precut the fur and then apply it in sections. Nathan's method is much cleaner looking than what I've done. I quit doing it because the fur caused the lure to lose a lot of action.
  3. I recieved some g-10 from McMaster today. It was white/light green. Thanks again guys
  4. Last question. What thickness do y'all recommend in decimal form?
  5. Well you know it's a good site when a tenessee fan can muster the kindness to help out ga boy. I appreciate it but I'm going to hold off and see what else I can find. If they can get it to me that fast then I'll wait until I'm closer to being ready for it. Bob, thank you and please keep us updated if you find anything.
  6. Kind of a thread hijack but it's been a while and I figured its better than starting a new thread. Can y'all recommend a source for g-10?
  7. Ive been pouring some baits with lurecraft plastic for a couple of days now. mainly pouring stick baits with what i found on here to be the standard stick bait formula. but i was wondering what baits are best poured with out salt.
  8. thanks guys. the great part about this site is that the members are always willing to help
  9. Im considering trying out the soft plastic side of pouring and was looking at lurecrafts "green plastic" but i didnt know if it would be better to buy the medium and soft grade and mixing them or just the medium and adding softener. i plan to start with stickbaits and im more concerned with action than durability so any advice is appreciated. my only experience with pouring is remelting old worms a few years ago until i read about how dangerous it is.
  10. Scales aren't blatantly obvious on most fish, so I don't think an epoxy top coat would have an adverse effect. Really coal looking bait though. Ive been trying to figure out how to do this for a while.
  11. I love those colors and think it would look awesome on a dead sticking bait but i think the length would inhibit the action of your popper.
  12. Thanks guys. I came up with some for now but I will definately keep these links in mind.
  13. Hey guys I usually post in the hard bait section but i was hoping ya'll could help me find a source for whole rabbit skins/furs.i usually tan my own but its a lot of work and i don't have time to go hunting.
