I ordered many colorado #8 striped blade, they look realy great but i have a big probleme with them...... The color of some of those blade is realy easy to rip off the blade, i can remove it with my nail ..... The color im talking about is red/white blueu/white org/white green/white chart/white /black/white purp/white pink/white So i baught a truck/van suv clear top coat, and applyed 2 coat of this but it dont seem to protect the blade realy well, its realy easy to scratch. So what kind of product i need to use to get this realy hard I know a lot of people talk about devcon 2t, but it not easy to find this stuff out here and i have a lot of blades to do like 200 and i dont realy want to use a brushe. Is there someting i can spray on my blade to protect them ??? thx a lot

Hi i would like to know if there is a big diference between a spiner blade size 8 deep cup and a normal one. It's for musky fishing, i will build a 2 blade bucktail like a DCG I heard that the deep cup one are made for a slower retreive Which one is beter and you use them for what purpose ? Thx....

Since moore lure is closed for the winter where do youy order those thing for surface lure. I want to build some surface lure like turbojack of topraider. How do you call those blade that spin ''tail'' what's the true name and where i can order them . If its possible to build them, is there a post on this, i didin't find it. I would prefer buying them thx a lot

Im making wood bait form red cedar, before painting i seal them and sand them a bit to get some grip for my paint.... After the paint i coat them with a 2 part epoxy product similar to envirotex call nu lustre found here in canada. I read everywhere on this site that wee need to do a litle sanding between each coat of epoxy. I'm making musky bait so i will do a lot of coat. I dont realy like to sanding ...... I read somewhere that we can rub the lure with alcohol to get a similar result before coating.... is it true i need more info on this thecnique...... thx....

Hello everyone, i'm building some jointed crankbait..... I'm just out of the bathroom, i was testing some jointed rapala, perchbait, belivever and other. What i just realized is that the tail sink more than the body??? So my question is are the tail of a jointed crank is weighted???? I tested my own jointed crankbait that look very similar to a dephtraider from jo bucher. Swim nice but, when i stop it i see the tail sink but just a bit from the weight of the back hook. The tail of my jointed crnakbait don't sink as mutch as the other jointed bait, should i weight them to get a beter action??? or i can leave them like that..... thx

Got some question about weighting and i dindn't find any answer with the search engine. First of all when i put a bait in the bathub to see if it is balanced all bait most float balanced???? I will build crankbait that i will troll at hight speed Will it be beter for my deep depht model if when i test them they sink by the nose??? Will they reach beter depht if they sink by the nose??? For the shallow model they must float balanced??? Thx a lot

Some quick question before ordering envirotex product. 1- for sealing my bait the product i should take from this company is ultra seal? but can i use quick dry lacquer? 2-Should a take envirotex lite or envirotex what the difference for musky bait. 3-With a 16 onz kit of envirotex how many musky bait size i can do? 4-Envirotex is beter than devon 2 ton for topcoat????? http://www.kidder.ca/products.cfm?CatID=111 Thx all

I i did some perchait lure with red cedar and they look good. I got one to get the mesurement. With some of my body left i want to do 3 out-cast but i dont have any of those to get the mesurement of the lip....... If someone could give me the size of the lip,the angle and the location on the body it would be very great I printable picture of the lip would be even beter but let's not dream to mutch Ps(those lures are weighted???)

Thx to all for the information About the Propionate does this stuff work great as a sealer for musky lure.....? Can i apply water base paint over that stuff? And finaly can i use this stuf as final coat like 3-4 coat to pretect my lure? thx

Hi all I'm having problem finding product like devcon 2 ton or sanding sealer out here. Can somebody give me the name and brand of many sanding sealer, paint, and top coat this way i will be able to ask for the right product when i go to the store. I went to the exotic wood store, they have a lot of sanding sealer but no one is waterproof and the guy can't help me... So if you have any products name,brand,store i can find them in canada (quebec) let me know If it's more simple to order online and i got beter price give me some web site thx a lot.
