River rat tackle makes the best swim jig I have used. 5/0 Mustad hook, wire bait keeper and recessed line tie.

Just getting into making a few hard baits and have been struggling to be consistent when cutting lexan for the lip of a bait I am working on. Is there anyone who would be willing to help me out? I can get you a template for the lip I am wanting, not looking for a large bulk supply but maybe 25 or so to start. Let me know if you can help me out.

If you could design a finesse jig and incorporate your favorite features in a jig, What would your ultimate finesse jig feature? Wire Weedguard vs fiber guard? Living Rubber vs Silicon? Hand Tie vs skirt band? lead bait keeper vs wire bait keeper? light wire hook vs heavier wire hook? ball head, brush head, football head, stand-up head, etc...? 1/4, 3/16, 3/8, 5/16, 1/2, etc...? colors?

Looking at getting into jig making a little more than just pouring in a do-it mold. Have looked into the costs of getting set up with companies that specialize in spincasting and have started to design a couple different jig heads. That is where I get to my first speedbump. Has anyone ever contacted a hook manufacturer about modifying a hook that they currently make? I am not looking to reinvent the wheel, only tweak a hook that I like into something slightly different that I would like more. I am interested into what it would cost to get a hook specially made, how many hooks would you have to order to get a custom run, etc... If any of you have worked with a hook manufacturer and had a hook specially made for you, any help would be appriciated.

Has anyone started pouring these yet? I would like to get my hands on a few and use them to decide if I might want to buy the mold. Lokks like it could be killer on a scrounger head.

Has anyone tried the plastic DT10 or DT16 crankbaits that are for sale on predators site? Just curios about how they run, how durable are they, and do they rattle?

I have been able to find the blades that barlows sells through barlows and several other sites, but what I am looking for is a black nickel blade. Has anyone seen anywhere that you can buy these?

Lurecraft and del-mart both sell worms that are larger than 12". It depends on the style of worm that you are looking for because I believe both of them are the straight trick worm style worms.
