  1. Thank you for the help! Most of these baits are just cracked "a little", so I wanted to address this problem before I let it go too far. Two are old Mike Bowers square bills and the others are some of the lexan billed Zoom "Wobblers" I've had for several years. It'll be sad singing and slow walking when these are kaput!
  2. I've got some old Bagley's and various custom balsa baits in need of repair. What kind of wood filler would I need to use to fix these baits? Also, is there a sealer I need to apply once they are patched up? Any help would be appreciated.
  3. Does anyone know who is making them, or where can you buy some? I'd just be interested and seeing the difference. Can anyone post a pic of a blank? Thanks
  4. I have most of the components for putting this thing together, but here's the dumb question. What clips are best to use for holding the bait as it spins? I paint quite a few "old" Poe's and need something pretty stout. Also, for lures such as Bombers with a keel on the bottom of the bill. Binder clips just slide off. Any suggestions?
  5. I've noticed that most guys are using (or seems to be) Dick Nites as a top coat, and just dipping the bait. If I were going to apply glitter to a bait, can you mix a little glitter (superfine) in with the clear and spray the bait? I'm a little concerned about the glittler "settling" in the resevoir is one thing that has me puzzled (clogging and cleanup). Would I need to go up on tip size to do this? I'm not looking to saturate the bait, just a very small amount. Does anyone have some suggestion?
  6. I've got some old Wiggle Warts in less than desirable colors I'm wanting to strip and repaint. What's the best way to remove the paint without damaging the body itself? I figured a lot of strippers would eat the plastic up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
