  1. It's a custom paint job and they have to have found something that is reusable or easily reproduceable because all of the baits have the exact same pattern. It also would have to have an adhesive I would think to keep the strong contrast between top and bottom
  2. Does anyone know where I can find chrome airbrush paint.
  3. Does anyone know what these guys are using for stencils on the carapace of the craw patterns.
  4. I exclusively use D2T for my epoxy coat and frequently add glitter, the amount depends on the finish I want to acheive. The only recommendations I have are to get the smallest glitter you can find and if you thin the epoxy with DNA or something else the glitter will float to the top a little. It usually isn't enough to worry about but you can take an exacto knife blade and skim it over the top to remove the texture. Works great and looks good.
  5. Thanks for the suggestions. I think I will try some taxidermy paints for some more natural colors. I know a taxidermist pretty well who could probably hook me up. I would really like to figure out my detailing issues so I could paint up some custom craw colored wigglewarts for early spring. I just have problems spraying the fine lines for the segmentation.
  6. I was wondering what everybody's favorite airbrush paint is. I paint with a paasche airbrush and have only used createx paints. They have worked well but after looking at some of the baits in the gallery I don't think I could get some of the results with createx. It might partly be the airbrush I am using or my lack of skill. Just looking for some suggestions to experiment with.
  7. I was wondering if anybody knew of a good glow paint for airbrushing. I usually just use createx but didn't find a glow color on their website.
