  1. "Replica Lure," of a trophy Peacock Bass a guy caught in Brazilain Amazon a few weeks ago. Making another replica this weekend of his freinds Peacock which is the new IGFA world record Peacock at 28lbs; also caught just a few weeks ago.

  2. Thoght of making this lure after seeing the movie "WILD THINGS," .......first lure I've ever seen with HORNS!!!??? HOPE the Vikings can win a SUPER BOWL in 2011!!!!! Maybe if they change thier Mascot to my lure!!

  3. Very nice work! What kind of final protective coat do you use? I brush on an epoxy that is designed for jig heads. It somtimes shrinks and craks my paint so I want to try somthing else. I've heard Devcon is good but I couldn't find it at walmart but at time i didnt know it came in a tube so maybe that is why i didnt see it. Do you put your finnish over eyes too. I'd like to use somthing that you can cover eyes in too.

  4. Thanks Diemai, that looks like an awesome trout in your picture! Was just researching trout fishing on the white river in Arkansas for March 2010 this morning. I caught my first and only trout last weekend in NE Iowa; a 12 inch Brown trout. Truly the most beautiful fish ive ever caught. I'm hooked now so going 8 hours south for shot at some trophies.

  5. Nice work, been wanting to build one like that "lazy ike style" for an in-line design to put on front of a "crawler harness" for walleyes. I repaint and tie harnesses out of A-Pex A plugs that are made out of light styrophone, but always thought wooden design would look good too. Would you be interested in selling some unpainted ones?
