    cold to paint

George, Sure is cold! Not painting gives me time to work on the website...
  2. Your local scrap yard is a good bet. The current price is $.85 per pound. I picked up some real nice soft lead a couple days ago.
  3. Look at your local scrap yards, they always have lead.
  4. I've used a sawzall to cut lead. Works out pretty good on skinny pieces but larges pieces can get to be a pain. I've also got a 75 pound block in the garage and need to cut it up today.

April is the best month for Walleyes in the Detroit River! I am taking my captians course in April and have the 11 and 12 th to do some fishing. If you available let me know. This is a good time of year to pull 30 min limits of quality 2-3 lb eyes, and the monster females will be hanging around. I've got all the gear... Ryan

Thanks for the warm Welcome. Don - When you get up this way let me know. If our schedules match your more than welcome on my boat.
  7. I see Benjamin in action at a local fishin expo! He sure knows his stuff. Great people those yoopers are.
  8. I spend the majority of my time chasing walleyes. This year I'll spend a little more fishing for smallies and muskies. I have one of the greatest fresh water resources in my back yard and plan to take full advantage of it. I also spend a little bit of time fishing for sturgeon.

I see this is quite the educational site. I am a avid walleye fisherman from the Detroit area. In my spare time you can find me in the garage making and powder painting jigs. I noticed a few fimiliar names so far. If theres any walleye fisherman that haven't experienced April in the Detroit River, you gotta get over here. Let me know if I can help.
