hi mark yes i carved it from a slat of a pallet with a stanley knife and sand paper great recycling lol i have given it 2 coats of clear laquer car spray but the shine isnt as deep as epoxy, i am going to epoxy it but thought i would post as it is as i tried epoxy on a third one and got fish eyes in the layer, i been told i need to make a drying wheel to get the layer even so going to make one next

    the "Splasher"

i love the lip shapes on these , they look very effective
  14. instead of the closure and loop what about a smaller plastic bead with one side sanded down flat, should be possible to hold the bead down with a piece of wire trough the hole and use a dremmil (hobby drill) with sanding bit i use beads down to 2-3mm tying flys... just a thought keep up the good work, may try one of these myself when i get chance

    The "Dinner Bell"

they look nice, i bet the noise is a good attraction .. how about a D shaped piece of perspex/lexian drilled through edgewise instead of the loop?
