i just loaded photobucket in my comp. added a picture and sent it to my email add. i received it but was kinda small for veiwing. how do i post them on here using photobucket?? thank you for all info.

None of the above!!! He has them in his computer, on an sd memory card, in his picture phone and is burning several discs. I don't think the pics will be lost. Also when i get the disc i will be glad to burn a copy and send it to anyone that would like it. There i think that will prevent the loss of the pics. Now if someone could just tell me how i download a program so when i get the disc. i can post them on here!!!! Not trying to be a wiseguy-just trying to cover all the bases so you all can see the pics and make your own prognosis as to the size. I know it's hard to tell by a picture as to the exact size of the fish but he says there are other things in the pics to try to compare it to. And NO the pics are not edited or doctored up. Just to let you know he will be there this evening trying to hook it again. I am hoping he catches it again so he can remove all doubt and get the new record. Being a female it may have layed it's eggs already and may weigh less than originally weighed but it should still be bigger than 11lbs. 4 oz.

Just got off the phone with my son. NY denied his record because of no license. Oh well guess he will have to catch it again. He said he tried to send me the pics through email 3 times this am but i didn't receive them so he will copy them to a disc and mail them to me in the morning. I will post some pics as soon as i receive it if i can figure how to do it. if anyone knowing how to post pics would please let me know how i will set it up so when i get them i'll be ready. Thank you

I also don't understand why he is taking so long to send the pics. I know if i had caught this lunker i would have had the pics. posted the same day i caught it. i will call him again today and tell him of all the negative feedback and try to push him to get me the pics. asap. If it turns out he is full of @#+^ which i highly doubt you will all have my deepest apologies. Even though he has 2 boys and no income i think i would at least find someone to help him get the pics. I will try to get him to go to Walmart and have them printed out and mail them to me so i can scan them and post them.

Like i said i am going to wait for the state's determination as they set the rules not you, me, or him. there word is good enough for me. As for the pictures i will post them when i get them and you can in your infinite wisdom make your own determination.

How is he stealing from you??? He has purchased a license and no doubt will face a hefty fine when he goes to court resulting in him donating a hell of alot more than you do to the upkeep of the fisheries. Do you carry a plastic bag with you and pick up other people's garbage at fishing holes like he does or are you the one that drops it on the ground and walks away??? As far as all the negative comments i expected that. Some from jealously some from ignorance and some from wanna be lawyers. I agree he probably shouldn't get the official state record because of no license but Ny state will determine that not you, not me, not him. Whether you are right or wrong i guess everyone has there own opinion. Me, I am going to wait for the state to determine the outcome and wait to see the pictures. The key word in this whole story is in the heading POSSIBLE. cHECK IT OUT IN THE WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY AND YOU WILL THEN KNOW WHAT IT MEANS. Enjoy your negative day.

thank you for the info 6 feet deep. i just went on the site you posted and don't see anything saying no license no record. As far as the other requirements he meets them as he has pictures of him, the game warden, and the bass from several angles. Can't wait to see the pics. myself. hopefully i will receive them today and post them on here if i can figure out how to do it.

Last year NY started allowing bass fishing year around but only catch and release during the spawn.

Got a phone call from my 37 yr old son 4/13/08 9:30 am. Said he was fishing a small pond in upstate NY where he lives when he heard someone behind him. Just as he looked up and saw the game warden he got a huge hit. The game warden stood and watched as he started fighting the fish. As he played this monster he heard him shouting words of encouragement. Then his Johnny Morris pole with spider braid line snapped in half but he kept on fighting the fish.When he got it in he couldn't beleive the size of it. Keep in mind the record large mouth in NY is 11lbs 4oz. He weighed it with a digital fish scale and to there amazement. 12lbs. 15ozs. He took several pictures of the fish with him and the game warden then released it back in the pond as it is catch and release only in NY at this time of season. Then came the inevitable question from the game warden. SON let me see your license. Second time in the last few years my son couldn't wait to fish so i guess he was in to much of a hurry to buy one. Anyhow at least he has documented proof he was there that day and caught what may end up being termed as the new state record. The warden says he will back up his statement and help him try to get it certified. If not he will wait until he can keep the fish and catch it again as he is the only person that fishes this small remote pond. Sorry i dont have the pictures yet of the fish but i will try to post them on this thread when i receive them. Good luck son.

Welcome aboard. If you make 1 you will never be able to stop.

I had one that stuck and couldn't push it back in. i put a wet washcloth in the micro wave to get it real hot and then wrapped it around the joint where stuck -waited 10 or 15 seconds and was able to push it in ok. Best to wear gloves when doing it so you don't get burnt. if you try it let me know how you make out. good luck
