I am really new at this what is a pop mold and how do i make one. One other question how do i start a tread?

i hand carve wood bait both cranks and topwater out of oak all the time. They fish fine for me. I like them a little better than balsi because you do not need to put a resin on the wood before you paint it. P.S. Nice bait!
