    Don't do it!!!!!!!! Use an epoxy topcoat. Search the forum. Lot's of recommendations.

    Is that the piece that goes behind the button? If so, turn it sideways, fit into top slot and then turn until wide part of metal is straight across the needle and then theirs a litlle slit behind the needle that the metal piece sets into. Hope this helps.
  6. I use a router to keep my baits symetrical. I bought a dremel router table and use my extra dremels.
  7. Band Saw hands down. Wouldn't part with mine !
  8. I paint over clear coat and heat set. Never had a problem.

    Dowell Rods

    Yes! Sure makes turning on a lathe alot easier.
  18. I use the same size tips as you do, also. I spray at a low pressure 15 - 25. I thin all of my paints. The Createx not as much as the cheap paints (Apple Barrel, etc.) To do the pearls I thin and increase my pressure to 30-35.

  20. I use the water transfer decal sheets. After printing I spray the decal sheet lightly with acrylic clear spray and let dry. The cut decals, dip in water until paper will slid off. Then carfully slid decal onto bait. Oh, I also apply one coat of sealer before applying decal to help it slid better and make it easier to position. ipock2
  21. I have been making wooden lures for years. The beauty of wooden lures is that no two are the same. No two have the same action. That's the excitment of making & buying wooden lures. ipock2
