thanks you guys i just started this and I thought that you could just take them out of the box and paint them. some that I have painted have turned out just fine but the others the paint just runs off of them. The paint seems to stick to the bodies that are bone white better for me. I didnt know if you had to sand them before you painted them or not.

I get my paint at hobby lobby you can but it in a set of opaque or in just the bottles

I am new to painting crankbaits but I love it. I am having problems with getting the paint to stick to the baits. I can get it to stick for a shile but after it dries it just peels off. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me.
