Fishing has been very slow over here since two years , but for the oncoming season I am hoping to be more successful , as we have a very hard and long winter ,..... just the kind , that it used to be .
Still have predators closing time until 1st of May and small waters are still covered with ice , anyway .

Hi , rofish
Just like to say a big "THANK YOU" for the advice and encouragement , that you have given me in terms of posting pictures into the forum .
I opened an account at "photobucket" and I managed to put some pics there into an album and I also managed to submit one of these into the thread "homemade tools" .
I have intended to post three pics , but that did not work out , I guess , in the near future I'd stay with posting only single pictures , just to get routine , if I have that enough , I could think about getting further .
Thanks again , greetz , diemai

Hi , rofish
I think , somewhere is an option to choose , wether you want an Email notice or not about new posts in threads , that you have participated in . If my memory serves me right , it was somewhere , where you can write your personal data to introduce yourself , but I am not quite sure .
Couldn't check before , got problems with my computer , the sites are coming up so damn slow , also can hardly get access to my Email at "t-online" .
Have to ask a workmate about it tomorrow .
Greetings , diemai

Hi , rofish
Thank you very much for your kind and informative answer to my questions .
If I have more time , I surely would open an account at "photobucket" as well , right now I am spending way too much time on computer , I really have to get prepared with my tackle , fore predator closing time is over the 1st of May , in Hamburg the 16th of May .
I was very concerned about those spam mails mentioned in one of the threads , but now , that you tell me , that you didn't have such problems , I am OK with it .
If I think over it , it won't be wise of "Photobucket" to do so anyway, because they would surely scare off people(like me) to get involved with them .
Thank you very much again for the efforts , that you took for me ,
best greetings , diemai
PS : your lures in the web-album look very nice , I am sure , that the fish fall for them frequently .

Hi , rofish
Thanks again about those links for posting pictures into the forum .
Can you tell me , wether it is true , that you would get a lot of spam mails , when opening account at "photobucket" ?
And what is meant by "fake Email adress" , that you should probably utilize , to avoid such spam ?
Sorry to bother you , but I am quite dump about computering , but I would like to have this option about posting pics in the forum as well , if possible , but I hate cracking my brains out on computers .
sorry again , diemai

Hi , Sonny
Thanks for your kind words . I can definately assure you , that the "Heiddy" is a "killer lure" .
I advise you , not to embed the weight straightaway after the design sketch into the lure , I always clearcoat my jerkbaits with ordinary clear lacquer , assemble all hardware and fix a piece of wire to the linetie(resembling the wire leader) and now first determine about the weight needed to achieve desired sink rate in a water bucket .
Then I'd fix that weight with plastic tape onto the indicated location at lureblank and check for accurate horizontal sink position . I move the weight , until satisfied .
Due to different woods , that may be used , that location at the body can vary , hence my advice .
Did not do this with my first ones , and I was dissappointed about them not sinking quite level !
Good success with anything , that you're up to , diemai

Hi , Sonny
Divani has sent me sketch copies of the "LUDELA" jerkbaits some years ago , but so far I only built the No. 6(out of 1 to 7)in all it's three sizes , also employed that sketch for the outer shape of my "Jointed Variations" , shown in the hardbait gallery . Even made a tailweighted topwater lure of this shape .
The line was designed by another Belgian guy Named LUc DE LAnge , hence the name of those lures .
On one of those "LUDELA 6" I've hooked a giant perch , scratching 50cm(20") , some years ago , but it came off at boatside , I am still a little disturbed about it .
Good success with your "LUDELA's" , diemai

Hi , Waterlogged , I am happy , that you like this lip design , it would surely be worth a try on your local musky , of course on a bigger lure .
As I wrote in my describtion , I utilized a kind of hobbyist router machine to cut the lip to shape , but I believe , that it can also be made with more simple tools , though this would take longer .
I would first cut out the lip shape with a saw , the blade should not be too narrow for better guidance to achieve straight cuts , after take a file to smoothen the sawcuts , for the 90
