I've only been pouring for 2 weeks, but it sure feels good to know I've helped out a little?

I added black to the red once and it made purple color. The one next to the swirls. Then I tried the red and black flake and came up with the color on the far right. .015 black and ..035 black. Doesn't look as good in picture.

Yes, they can suck, but its a challenge and I like that. I'll have to try it.

For some reason the Red I use from LC seems to turn out Pink or Magenta unless I add Red Flake to it.

Its good to know I'm not the only one with that opinion.

Some people may pour them while the mold is put together, but I pour into part of the mold then wait a minute and then put it back together and pour my second color which has to be really hot.

Yep, that Turquoise seems to do really good in clear water.

The Smoke Sticks had a cold crack in them but once the mold heated up the Lime and Chartreuse ones seemed to pour fine. Usually the ones with the cracks don't pull apart so I leave them, cause the fish don't seem to care. Then when the mold gets to hot and I stand it up it runs down and settles in the tail and makes like a laminated fire tail. Looks pretty cool to me but it isn't considered a laminate anymore.

Here are some of my laminates. Lime and Pearl White Smoke with Turquoise Hi-Lite The smoke were the first ones I poured. The mold was cold. That why I had the cold crack. Right?

Them counters better look nice!!! I was just thinkin. You know how many molds I could have gotten for the price of that Granite!!!

http://www.tackleunderground.com/photos/file.php?n=221&w=l Don't worry about that I already found them the other day. If Im not mistaken they were poured in a one piece mold. That would be a little tough in a 2 piece mold wouldn't it. LOL

I hope it gets better. Im gonna have to find a challenge. I've already poured Swirls and Firetails, and only been pouring 2 weeks today. So!! Whats Next??
