  1. I'm paying $140/month and that was after i upgraded to max motor capacity, galv trailer, spray in liner, tach and hour meter. This boat is the best setup i;ve seen. can panfish out of it or bass fish/ plenty of room on frt to stand up/ wide enough to stand on the edge of it, shallow draft for woody rivers. This is what i got Triton Boats Oh and comes standard with cooler in frt of the captains seat
  2. Dude I'm tellin' ya.. The way to go is a Triton, lifetime welded hull, no wood subfloor. A tracker will give you a lifetime warranty on the subfloors but we all know it wont last with it being wood.
  3. Well I'm going to try again. Vacation is in two weeks, going to Eufaula and need some tips on where to go. not just fishing areas but other things to do in the area, where to eat, where to send the wifey pooh to get her out of your hair, where to buy tackle, bait, and lastly where to fish:worship:
  4. picked it up on friday will be on the water on saturday
  5. They started the rigging this afternoon late. They should be done with the rigging and testing tomorrow. I may be "cough-cough" calling in sick friday. Will post the pictures as soon as possible
  6. NICE !!!! I would never have thought of that, i can now retire my old dry ball point pen and ruler!!!!!!!!!!
  7. My last post was when they called me from the dealership. I went and looked at it, It is beautiful. I KNOW I'M GOING TO LOVE IT!!!
  8. It's Here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just Like They Promised.
  9. Summer up here in N. Florida is murder unless you have plenty of deet. If the mosquito's dont carry you off, the sand gnats (no see ums) will. Worse yet the yellow flies just showed up around here. They are alot like a horse fly but they fly and attack in swarms. Dont see how the deer and other animals survive 'em around here.
  10. I just wanted to tell everyone about my experience buying a boat. It has made me thankful that customer service is still alive and well. I went in and special ordered a Triton Stick Steer from my local dealer. He told me and the missus 3-6 weeks for it to come in. We started calling after 3 weeks, and always got the answer "Still haven't heard when they'll be delivering." I gave it until 6 weeks and went in to find out what was up, we found out that when we ordered it they were in the middle of moving the plant to minnesota and it caused a two week delay. Yea so i'm a little disappointed, as the best fishing is right around now. This weekend is week 8. The ZONE REPRESENTATIVE called me today and said that they had another truck stopping in Tennessee and picking up my boat from the depot along with some others and would be here next friday, by the time it would be rigged it would be 9 weeks. You'd be mad right? ZONE REP, "This is what i want to do, if you'll let me, i will drive to tennessee on monday, pick up your boat and bring it to you. I would be ther on Wednesday and the boat should be rigged by thurs or friday so you can have it for next weekend. By the way what size are you and your wife so i can bring along a couple of Life Jackets and some hats and shirts for ya'll and try to make up for your lost time." I was at a loss for words, I understand that crap happens and some things are out of your control, but this company still understands that while you cant control somethings you can still control how the customer feels about you and your company. I live in florida btw, its not a hop skip and jump from tenn. I think i'm going to like my new boat!!!!!!!
  11. you can also do a metallic base cover with aluminum tape. make lines in the tape with a sharpened dowell in a series about 45* to each other making cross hatches, apply to bait and then paint over with pearlized or candy type paints. This too is in tutorials, good luck
  12. You are just like my cousin, he works at a pwr plant at the dam here in town. They have barricades up 150-200 yds from the wash, so you cant pull up to it in a boat. What does he do? Sit on the damn dam on his "breaks" and fishes. Lucky jokers. Is it too late to change careers, so far I want to work on bridges or at the dam. Maybe I can open a Dock repair business....
  13. Got an even better idea. Next time your wife and kids laugh at your attempts. Go wash their clothes, a nice red shirt with all their underwear. Tell em everytime they laugh, you wash clothes. Besides your a guy and colorblind, we don't know what "seperate colors" means lol:wink: My wife banned me from the wash room right after we got married..... worked like a charm
  14. Yea it's still a gold mine. The lead that you dont use will still fetch a hefty price. I'm the mgr at a local dealer ship, I have two "junk" men that pay me $25-$35 a bucket for scrap lead weights, these have steel attaching pieces, i'm sure you would get more for pure lead. Now if you mean trash by the copper etc in it, it may not be worth melting but at $20 to $30 a bucket profit you could buy lead ingots. just my 2 cents
  15. Heck of an idea i just may do that. lol
