  6. Maybe try turning the power down on your micro... I do the same when im pouring clear baits, then just sture more often and heat for less time.
  7. Sometimes its not the what that maters, its what it does that maters... i apologize i know this isn't what you were looking for . but it is what it is. The day fish stop atacking funny looking plastics and instead asking what it is its game over for us!!
  8. Thanks for that one Del, the gears are now turning and who knows what the end result will be. here fishy fishy!!
  9. If you plan on doing this for a while then its time to get your licence. Besides then you can clame all your worm making stuff as an expense.
  10. Vodkaman... thats all kinds of funny right there. I am delirious from my day of fishing and i almost shot my red bull vodka through my nose.
  11. I fully agree with zbass on this one, I have been using resin to do all of my molds for years now. I do pour a few hundred at a time, not day in and day out. But when i am running low on a color I pour enough to last a while. I have never noticed a smell unless I did not add enough hardener to the mix. Judging by the color of your mold, you surely added too much. with resin there is a fine line between too much and not enough. beleve it or not weather can also play roll in it. One problem I think people are having with resin and smell is, just because the resin is in a ridgid state does not meen it is fully cured. Sure you can pour it after 20-30 minutes, but it is not fully cured for a few days. So people if you are having a problem with your resin molds worping or getting smell transfer take my advice into cosideration. Make your molds and let them cure for a few days... Yes I have a problem with it also:drool:
  12. I keep my plastic in the 5gallond bucket. I like to keep it in there for mixing purpose. I use a drill and a paint mixer. that way my consistenct in on the dot.
  13. nOW THATS PRETY FUNNY... WORM DISCO WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT
  14. The good old days... i was stuck in an apartment for about two years. I used a micro and a nice strong box fan. I did not have a porch just a spare bed room. i can give you some tips on this one, i found it best to pour at off times of the day, urly evening things like that. If you pour inside check to see where the exaust comes out of your micro and make sure this is pointed at the fan also. If you happen to be doing any other activities in the house that the police would not approve of then DONT POUR IN AT YOUR HOUSE!!!!! It worked for me i had no complants from any neighbors or anybody else for that mater. Just keep your pouring on a small scale, just what you need for your self. Good luck:twocents:
