  1. does any one know what kind of paint is used on some of the crankbaits with a pearl flashy look to them . it looks like the pearl moves as you move the crankbait?

  2. i use house of color kandy base coats in what ever color you want and they are mixed 2:1 with RU311
  3. thats not good. paint is not sticking , over spray will look like powder. are you puttin on a wet coat of paint. mite have to much air pressure that will cause over spray? what are you using for a base coat
  4. i mix my paint in 4 oz squirt bottles. i have every color i use premixed. when i need a color just squirt a little in cup and spray. never had any go bad.
  5. i use this mold a good bit i have not had any problems. are you using the bottom pour pot? i leave my mold sit on top of lead pot as it heats up so it is good and hot when i start to pour
  6. hey i use house of kolor all the time i use a white /pearl base coat. silver works but will change color a little bit
  7. thanks again Redg8r i am tryin to come up with a line of new modern style stick baits more life like. i have been making them for last 20 yrs from wood. i have designed a bait but needs to be plastic for special effects. maybe ill have to start injecting my own
  8. thanks Redg8r, i had seen there selection and not what i want for top water, crankbaits looked good, just tryin to get more of a selection
  9. I am looking for unglued crank bait bodies, can anyone help me? Thanks.
  10. i hae carved out my body then split it and make a wire form to inlay inside of bait then epoxy the two half together on the softer woods. works very well
