    Bobsmolds?

Is Bobs Tackle shack still around? I cant find him on line any more. Also where can I can weighted inserts for in line swimbaits?
  3. I cant seem to match up the Jackall "Sand Pepper and purple flake" Color. its kind of a different sand color than say Zoom baits. its a clouded light brownish with greenish tint. The flak part is not the issue, just matching the color. I attached a pic, hope it goes thru.
  4. I went to robo's site and they dont have a pic of the color up. It was just stated as: Cinn. w bronze, blake flake / Blake copper Neon / Pearl. It is part of there FX 4" sculpin line. I dont care about the highlights just the main body of color. Also why does my plastic turn a greenish tinge after I pour half a cup or so on my more transparent colors?
  5. Do you guys have any color recommendations for a sculpin color? What I am looking for is like the ROBO Worm sculpin color.

    7" QT trout

This guy does some awesome work! I am lucky to have a few baits to play with.
  7. What are the advantages of a presto pot with and without mixer? And for pouring real small hand pour type baits what size valve is recommended? Also what amount of plstic do you put in at one time? I am looking at Bears and am not sure what valve he uses. Any recommendations>???
  8. What does the drop of black or dark blue do? I have heard that too when you want a clear color. What am I missing???
  9. Is the calhoun plastic known for that? I just got the new stuff Del is carrying but havent used it yet. So should I do more slow bursts to heat then long bursts? Yes I do keep my gallon jugs tight when not in use.,
  10. I am using Calhouns plastic from del. I usually only pour with 4oz at a time. For this swimbait I am pouring I am not adding salt just the plastic, colors, glitter, and softener.
  11. I do mix the plastic up quit a bit before pouring by shaking the container but I dont see the buddles then. I am mixing with a knife with new plastic as it heats in the microwave as its getting hot and then I see the bubbles. I will try letting it sit a bite.
  12. How do I get rid of bubbles when pouring? I am using a microwave and notice that I get alot of bubbles in my pours. Is there something I can do to prevent or am I do something wrong?
  13. Oh ok, I didnt know that. I will e-mail him to see what he says. Thanks
  14. Yes this is the 5" open pour mold by Bob. It pours great but I want to modify it some how for my own purposes. Thanks to Ed, I have some idea now how to do it. But going to take some work to get it where I want it. Going to be taking the bait to a buddies pool to test out some weights and see how it swims. I will let you guys know.
  15. Just got this mold and looking for ideas on how to rig a tube or mojo style wieght in it before I pour for the line to go thru. Kind of like a pro rigged osprey. Any ideas???
