I have been trying different plastics to get my own opinion on them. I bought some of the Calhoun medium and I use a microwave to heat it. My question is.....does this plastic always have a yellow tint? it seems that whenever I heat it up to a pourable state that it's not clear and instead a more yellowish tint. I know plastic turns yellow from over heating but I know I'm not overheating it, because it will have this tint before it's even pourable. I also use a laser thermometer. I do the exact same thing with my LC plastic and its crystal clear. Maybe I'm not mixing well enough? But I mix the gallon jug pretty hard and for a long time. Just as long as I do with my LC plastic. Thanks for any input.
