The wife says I need to spend more time with the kids and less time fishing and making lures!
I was looking at this Gel-a-Lure stuff and started thinking it might be good thing to get the kids involved in this sickness!
Does anyone have any experience with this...?

Thanks for the reply Basseducer! I was hoping to find one in the states. Although they do have some other things I like. I guess I'll just have to make a larger order to make the shipping worth it.
Again thanks for the help!!

I would like to add my own weight and rattles to a 4" rattle/chatter shad. I can't seem to find them unglued. Is it possible to buy them unglued? Could someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Ron

Thanks for the welcome Bruce!
It's funny you mentioned the part about hiding things. My wife complains about everything that's involved with lure building. Not to mention her fear of powder paints. It shames me to admit it but I do everything underground around here!

I found this site last year and have learned a lot from the pros here. I think it's about time I introduce myself.
My name is Ron and I live in Bakersfield California. Where I fish for striped bass mostly. I've attempted to carve wood on a couple of occasions. Although I can't seem to quit while I'm ahead.... Anyway I'm a Rookie at all of this custom stuff. So don't expect much input at this time from me. When I'm here I'm busy soaking up all of the great info!
Thanks to all that have made it this far! LOL:yay:

Thanks for the replies fellas!
I was going to make an order "for the kids" and I noticed they sell liquid plastic at a reasonable price. Does anyone have any experience with their plastic!
