I use screw lock from barlows tackle. I will try adding hard lead to the mixture. I think that may work because the lead is soft enough for the spring to be wiggled and the lead to deform. How much hard lead is recommended to be added to a pound of soft lead.

Does anybody have tips on pouring the screw lock jig heads? I an having problems with the spring wiggling around and not staying tight even before it has been fished.
