I didn't use a stencil for. Its just free hand. Only for the gills did I use a stencil. -
I used Createx auto air paint, it works pretty fine. But I had an issue with the epoxy clear coat, it peels off like oil in a Teflon-coated pan. Anyway, hope u like it even though.

Thank you! Yes, I did it.You need to disassemble the reel completly. Sand (fine) the parts you like to paint. Cover all parts who have to be protected from the paint and paint it. I used Createx Auto Air aluminum base to undercoat it and spaklescent mango and transparent black to paint it. After paiting have you to "burn in" the paint. I used my oven and set the temperatur to 60
