Something's either dirty or not tight enough. You could also have a bad seal in the air valve, that'll allow air to come up through the handle of the brush instead of the tip. Is the air coming from the front or back of the cup? If it's from the front, it's something either dirty or loose in the nozzle assembly. If it's from the back it's the valve.
Pike, did you mean you tried straight water and it didn't spray?
Yes i tried neat water still no good. the air brush is brandnew but not a name brand its my first go at it .I also have another airbrush with a 0.35 tip ad that is fine but not much good for detail

I just tried to paint a lure i made. I purchased some createx designed for airbrushing but i carnt get it to come out of the 0.3 tip. I also tried water just to see and still nothing. Any ideas lads?

I just wondered what you guys use to clamp your lures in when you paint them. i was thinking of buying a fly tying vice but i dont want to waist my money if there not up to the job . anyone got any ideas

I was talking to a man at the weekend who uses air brushes with a co2 ait tank. I just wondered if any of you guys do the same if so does it work ok?

My pilot holes are to small but i have ordered some stainless eyes now. Do you guys glue your eyes in.

Im propper gutted i spent all week making my oak glide baite done my first good paint job just about to put some envirotex on and snapped the screweye of the front. I think i need to order some stainless ones:flame:

I watched a video on u tube of aguy making a glide bait when it came to painting the lure body he put envirotex light on before painting.Is that a normal way of doing it?

At the moment i dont have a drying wheel but i do have the envirotex now. Is there any way i can dry it and still get a good finish?

I had a look inside and a nut was loose it seems to of done the trick thanks for all your help lads
