I know that most would tell me to use an airbrush to paint onto a hard plastic bait (crainkbait), but I am looking to use markers. My son is really too young to use paintbrushes because he would have paint everywhere. I want to make a couple baits with my son and he can't use an airbrush and neither can I. I tried using the rustoleum plastic primer and some washable markers and it did not work well. The marker ink would streak and just sit on top of the primer and not soak in. Perhaps some dads out there have experienced this issue and could give me some advice. Can any of you tell me what type of primer and markers could work, without spending a fortune and getting my son high on fumes. Thanks
