Well, things are returning to normal around here. The lakes headed back to more traditional levels for this time of year and it's finally gotten to be summertime. As a friend of mine used to put it "When you walk outside it smells like a woman ironing". (for those of you old enough to remember that)

It was 86 here at noon yesterday and if there hadn't been a good breeze I would have turned the a/c on. Fell asleep last night with the windows open and when I woke up this morning it was 40. Didn't take long to wake up and get moving this morning.

Had a Bud Lite tournament on Sam Rayburn a couple weeks ago. Winning weight for the 2 day tournament was over 57 lbs. The 2 guys that won it had over 37 lbs. the first day and it only took them 25 minutes to catch them. Guy caught an 8 on his first cast and 3 casts later he caught a 10. Guess there are a few big ones left in Rayburn after all.
