    Double Blades Won't Spin

I don't see anything wrong with the way your blades are on the clevis. I have not used the S-clevis when I make my own double tens. When I use the single clevis I will make sure that each end is parallel and bend as needed before I put it on the shaft with the blade. I have heard that the s-clevis can be tricky to get to work correctly. Make sure the 3 parts that go through the shaft are all parallel to each other. Should be able to use a pair of needle nose pliers to do any minor bending that may be needed.

    Making Thicker Wood Crankbaits

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I'm on the right track right now and will be able to get that 1 1/2" thickness I'm looking for that I can't find at Lowe's or Home Depot.

    Making Thicker Wood Crankbaits

I'm starting to make musky crankbaits out of wood. I want to make a bait that is thicker than the lumber I can find at Lowe's or Home Depot. What is the best way of glueing boards together that will be in the water all of the time? I would think wood glue or epoxy would be the answer but I don't know which method would work best. After I glue the boards and plane them to the correct thickness should I try to keep that seam as the centerline of the bait or does that matter? Thanks for the help!

    Powder Painting Blades

What type of airbrush are you using with powder? Are you just using a hobby sandblaster? When you airbrush with powder do you waste a lot of powder through over spray? I'm not at all familiar with the process of airbrushing powder paint and want to learn more about it! PSV, Is that a dowel you used through the eye on the blade?

    Powder Painting Blades

I've just recently started into the realm of powder painting spinner blades. I've used both a fluid bed and dipping the blades in a jar. One problem I've ran into when using forceps to dip the blades is I obviously don't cover that part of the blade. I let the blade cool then reheat and grab a different part of the blade to cover the unpainted part. I've found my forceps stick to the painted area and damage the area I've already painted. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can eliminate this problem and get full paint coverage on my blades.

    DIY fluid bed?

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure which size pump I have but it has 2 connections on the pump and I teed the hose before going into the fluid bed. It works fine on a 2" bed but doesn't do much on the 3".
