What mold was it you were having issues with? And what was the issue? I have a way to many molds and do have a few that allow issues to pop up. Most times its flashing on some pours, but does not matter if its pure of mixed lead. Pete

Sounds like your lead is not pure soft lead. I can use my pure and they work great. I messed up and used some with wheel weights and I'm here to tell you better have pliers to close them. Pete

Man if you pour anything bigger then 12" you better be the hulk. A mold full of sinkers in a 20" would cause me to use a fork lift. LOL Pete

Last price I got on a die for my Press to stamp out stuff like that. Was $7500. So it sits still without use, as that is just unreal for a few thousand stamps. I have an ideal that will be tried out this summer on these. Will post pics of it works out like I think it will. Will be out of a Spin cast mold. Pete

I bought 25ft a few weeks ago. I may be buying 100ft more soon. Setting up a spin casting machine. So with lots of molds and using them in our oven to cure the power paint. So will take a few thousand for us at a time.

Man your in trouble now. Never to fish again as orders will be flooding you now. So sit back and watch the $$ roll in and fishing time stand still. Way to go and those baits look great for sure. Pete

Let me see I make a great living doing this. Yes until the end of the year and we figure out all the taxes including 10% Excise tax on anything you make and sell for fishing. Yes that is 10% to the Government for excise tax. Now you can just say I did not know about that tax. You may go 3 to 5 years but they will bust you. Then its the 10% + interest and fines. That runs into big bucks of you sold many at all. So to figure your price start out knowing what you have in it with making the bait, PLus hardware to rig the bait, Painting,Packaging, Promoting and overhead Without knowing each step and what you have in your baits its hard for someone else to price yours. Good luck and hope your the next big hit and sell them faster then you can make it. But don't plan on this being your only means of income. If so enjoy the ramen noodle meals and water. We own 7 injection molds and lots of products out of those. Plus a spin-casting machine and still its just a tax write off for our real jobs. Pete

You can have 5 wires now after March 1 2003. The rules were changed to only three hooks per pole. So now we can run spinner blades on the other wires and three hooks or jigs. Pete

I agree most of mine have only a couple of inches. But made up a few last week, glued in the Porous plate on bottom. There 6" deep and have 4" of power. With 3 PSI of air the power fluffs up perfect. Works great for dipping AL Rigs or Spinner baits. Pete

Is there any place with more info on using the regular silicone sealant? Tried out some yesterday and did half a mold, but sure not as easy as the 2 part deal. Wish there was a way to make it thinner where it pours into and around Master part. I tried mixing did not work well. so just filled the bowl I was using and then placed my master part into the silicone then my keys to stick both parts back together. Any ideals on thinning this stuff down where it pours? Pete

Thats why I hate cats, had one jump out on me in a big truck. I had bob tailed to fuel up the truck. And was on my way back when the cat that stayed in the shop jumped in my lap. Now when running 85 MPH in a big truck up hill and in a curve, its not nice for anything to jump on you about 9 pm.... Pete
