I been wondering the same questions myself. The blank would be alot cheaper then bamboo or atleast I hope so. Would be interesting to experment with different kinds of wood other then Walnut

Never used on also. I seen a a video clip on Would be cheap to build.

what I use is a pill bottle. Drill a hole so the brass tubbing can go threw.I like Clear Resin and can be found in art stores. Also get some hardner. If you need it weighted use an egg sinker. Drill the hole bigger so the tubbing and slip threw it. Mak any colors you want. I like to use glitter.

I seen some molds for crank baits in a catalog and came close having a heart attack seeing the prices. Is there a way i can make my own molds?
