Hi folks! I'm interested in painting a few wakebait bodies. There are two clone bodies that I am interested in particular. 1)Buzzjet Jr --Deppz Buzzjet clone, example link) 2) Megabass Anthrax Clone (example link) Any opinions on how these clones run in the water? I realize that they certainly won't run as nice as the originals, but could anyone provide any feedback on their performance? Thank you!

However, threatening small children on Youtube isn't the best way to increase your fan base. if anything, it may lead to a backlash against the Alabama rig makers. It looks like the "AlaBama Rig" people are mad about people posting "how to make alabama style rig" videos or related videos. They've been posting all over YouTube today, threatening video owners. Here's a few comments from them, pretty outlandish: "Did you know that using the Alabama Rig registered name is a copy write infringement? Using Alabama Rig or A-rig in any way to lead advertising to your utube video is illegal. I need youto remove your tags and any liture with Alabama Rig name in it. Consider thisa friendly warning. Tammy Poss" "The Alabama Rig and A-Rig name is a registered name with the US Trademark Office. You are illegally using it. Your design will infringe on our patent. You I believe have been notified." "You are still using our name illegally for financial gain. I don't see how you can be telling people God bless you. Hello everyone, I am planning on painting some blank lures and I came across these blanks: http://wlure.com/product_info.php?products_id=176 They reminded me of the Megabass cranks and they were ridiculously cheap ($0.60, free ship), so I picked up a few. Sine they are from overseas, I think they'll take a long time to get here, but I couldn't resist. Has anyone fished these blanks before? If so, how did they work? Also, is this website a good website to purchase blanks from? I have not bought blank lures before and I am sort of new to this. I've tried my hand at hand-carving, it was fun but very time-consuming. Also, if there are better blank lure websites to try, please let me know! I would like to find some blank versions of the Megabass Anthrax, if at all possible.

Here is another video on how to make Alabama Rig diy/custom version. It looks like it has pretty light wire, probably better for smaller fish and panfish. Has anyone ever made a soft plastic cockroach? There's a small city park I often fish, with lots of these buggers running around at night. The bass will gobble 'em up. Does anyone know where to buy artificial plastic ones, or have any experience making a mold from a real insect? Thanks
