  1. I am currently making flipping jigs and slidding the rattle colar on the body of the jig mannualy, but after about 30 jigs the fingers start to get numb. I was wondering if anyone knows of a tool I could use to help slide the rattle colar on the jig?? Thank you in advance. RS
  2. You can buy it from Bobs at www.bobstackleshack.com or from Kevin at www.basstackle.com
  3. I wanted to thank everyone for there input. Looks like it's just a matter of practice, and getting the timming down right as squigster has put it. RS
  4. Thanks Tbaits, nice looking tube. I usually run off a whole bunch first and dip them again after, as i am holding the section of the tube where the tails are going to be cut, I tried lifting it after the excess has run off and before the palstic gets cold, I tend to get a lop sided head. I geuss I should leave it on the mandrel and then double dip it and turn it as you mentioned appreciate the tip Tbaits. RS
  5. I have been double dipping all my tubes and I get that little nipple at the head of the tube left over which I end up trimming, is there a technique to get that perfect roundness at the head of the tube?? it's realy not a big deal, but I was just curious if anyone has gotten it right. Any help with this is greatly appreciated . RS
  6. I would make it a two part pour. I would pour a smoke belly and a watermellon top, both with large black flake. You can also get some black dipping dye and creat the black spots, just an idea. RS
  7. BuckHammer It's called pourus polypropolene ( Hope I spelled it right), check out TJ's Tackle http://tjstackle.com/ I got my 3 'disks for the single dip fluid bed from him at a reasonable price, he may have larger sizes that you may need. RS
  8. Thanks for the tip, im going to give it try.
  9. Just started pouring swimbaits, I was just wondering what type of glue you guys use to glue in the eyes? any info is much appreciated. Thank you in advance. RS

  12. I would first like to thank all of you who have offered up ideas and advice, I have been able to cut down the “learning curve” drastically by reading all the helpful information you guys post, it’s been a real help for me especially being new to pouring. I am asking for anyone to explain how to successfully do a coreshot, and what to use, I have seen a lot of examples and they look great. I have searched the site and only found links to videos that don’t exist anymore. Thanks in advance RS
  13. Are the Drop Shot and Diamond tail Molds still available?? if they are I'll take two drop shot and 1 diamond tail. RS
