  1. The formula is easy to reproduce 5 minutes at a swimming pool with a senko and your version and you can dial it in. I think people are missing the point . Do it wanted a stick that they could reproduce without heart burn so they did the right thing contacted the man, made a deal and now we all can reproduce one of the best soft plastic baits ever made with out worry of infringement .
  2. Well, Im not a big poster but I figured this was worth it. (just for the record I'm in NO way in cahoots with them) I just recieved a Caney Creek mold and wow the quality is top self! it pours great every time, with ZERO flashing. It was at my door in 3 days. They sent me a bag of sample baits of other molds. I know its a marketing thing but its nice to get something extra every once in a while. The marketing scheme work to because theyre frog mold is SWEET lol I will have one when the mold funds are restored. I just figured some folks are quick to bash and gripe about stuff but slow to recognize great work and customer sevice. Caney Creek has both
  3. Welcome from Missouri, I dont post alot because these folks are way out of my legue lol but if you need know anything about making crappie baits then that I know lol
  4. well I did some "outside the box" thinking and might of found a company that might do it. It more of a bait keeper idea than a hook idea but I figured hook knowledge would work for this idea, I'm going to make a sample and send them, I hope they can help
  5. I was wondering where or who makes custom made hooks, I'm sure you would have to order a ton of them before any one would do it but I guess it would be worth it. Is there any mom and pop hook makers out there? Thanks for the help. These hooks are a dream of mine, I just need direction.
  6. Well, I'm tring to figure out what they are, and how to use them. Do you use them like other colors?????? Are they brighter? I would like to try them but kinda like some info before ordering them. thank
  7. I found Jacobs Molds and have had Rick make a few molds for me. His works is great and turn around is awesome. I make four diff. crappie baits and counting. I hope to keep adding to the collection.
  8. I was wondering what Hi Lites were, how and when to use them. Since at times I'm not the brightest worm in the tackle box an example of a lure with hi lites would be great. Thanks for the help
  9. can you just drill the hole bigger? so the injector fits?
  10. Pete you are the man!!!! I'm at the hospital in columbia. I just had my first baby, the sweetest girl in the world!!! Is the place called mid way?
  11. Hmmmm tin and I reckon that will come out of a do- it mold ok? I fish Truman lake and it has a Monster Shad population. In the summer we fish 3 and four inch baits. It cool to put those big baits on and catch some slabs. Our crappie rarely hit the 2 pound mark but they love big baits. Thanks for all the help!
  12. Ok that's is hands down the best I have seen!!!! Thanks a ton cadman. I know you have alot of hard work in trail and error thanks again. Also thanks for the other emails I got. I wish I new something so I could help folks out lol
  13. Yea I second crappie.com. This site is by far the bait making hot spot but crappie.com has some real crappie nuts! Such as myself lol I'm mo qwack over there as well. I have a few pics on the soft plastic side of some jigs I made. I would love to post pics here but can't figure out how to. I've tried photo bucket ect but no luck
  14. A 13 incher would be great! I make my own molds out of clear cast and they work pretty good but a two piece would be awesome! You see all the cool things you can pour for bass but us panfishers are just out of luck I reckon. I wonder what it takes for us to get rid of the minner under a bobber idea that so many people have about crappie fisherman. I will say I have as much if not more tackle for crappie than most bass folks. But then again I go to extremes lol
  15. I want to light'n up my ultra minnow mold so I can use the bigger size head for crappie without the extra wieght. What if any metals can I use? Cheap and easy to pour would be great. Thanks for the help
