I used Deft years ago. It was strong enough for me on Balsa, but will yellow over time.

I know this has probably been discused a 100 times on here, but I used the search and couldn't find a answer. I am ready to clear my first batch of 20 repaints with EnviroTex Lite. Should I brush or should I dip? I don't have a drying wheel. Please describe the best procedure with each alternative, and what I will need as far as equipment. Thanks in advance.

I'm new to repainting,and I'm trying to paint a Black bait with red markings. I'm having trouble with the red showing up, any suggestions.

I bought some envirotex. Wanted some DN but he wasn't able to ship it right away.

I just recently started re-painting baits. I might be doing it wrong. I have been sanding each bait down and then washing in dish soap. I then just start painting using Cretex and Polytranspar. I'm using white or Black Cretex for the primer. Is there something I should be using that is really a primer, or will the regular paint work? Also what is heat seting? I have just let the paint air dry after each coat. I haven't clear coated any yet so don't know if I'm going to have a problem. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong. Also what do you guys use to mix your clear finish in for diping?

I finally got all my equipment together to start re-painting some lures. What is the best way to prep the baits for paining. I have both plastic and Balsa baits. Most are new, just ugly paint jobs.

I'm also interested to know if there are any good clear coats that can be sprayed on. I'm in no hurry and number of coats don't matter to me.
