  1. I've heard that you can drill out the "eye socket" and hook shank areas out of say a jig mold and use red rtv silicone in those areas to allow for larger hooks, has anyone tried this with success?
  2. I'm using medical grade lead so it may be on the soft side??? I'm in the process of seeing if building up a small amount of D2T around where the wire enters the nose and see if it will fix the issue. I'm using it as a finish coat anyways.
  3. Have you guys had issues with the wire or hook moving on a head after being poured? The hook isn't too much of a problem but the wire is moving enough to knock the spinnerbait out of tune.
  4. Just wanted to stop in here and say hello. This is the forum I'll be spending the most time in. I've made bass jigs for 3 1/2 years, I've painted cranks for 4 years, and am looking into getting some spinnerbait molds and playing around with those. I'm definitely willing to learn and share any info that I come up with. Hope everyone has a good weekend and yanks a few in the boat.
  5. new to the site, hey everyone!
