Thanks every one. I bought it at hobby lobby. I think I will get a new bottle and try that first.

I've been trying to paint silver over black. it just seems to just clump up over the black. What am I doing wrong or is it possible I go a bad bottle of paint. The paint is wicked silver metallic, it come out of the bottle really thick like the consistency of pudding.

also when dipping lures do u dip the bill too.

where can i get the bob smith 20 min. finish cure. i am currently using D2T but i don really like it. is there anything in an aerosol that is any good.

i am repainting rapala husky jerks and want a thin topcoat. i paint in my basement so fumes and smell is kind of a problem.

these are the first paint jobs that I'm proud of. the pics are not that good though but would appreciate any constructive criticism

Im new to painting baits. Painting plastic baits with createx and using devcon 2t. when putting baits on my modified grill rotisserie dryer do the have to be parallel to the shaft or can they be perpendicular? been having trouble with uneven coating of devcon, using cheap acid brushes from menards to apply. just seem to always get an uneven coat.i have only coated 3 baits. it's frustrating me because my airbrushing skills are decent but i am always unhappy after i put on the epoxy. Thanks for your help in advance. this site is great and has given me alot of useful info.

Thanks, what about the hook hangers do u just clean out any epoxy that is in them.

New to painting baits. im using Devcon 2 Ton, do u guys keep the lip taped while applying the epoxy and if so how do u get it off. also how do u keep your hook hangers free of epoxy? I've learned ALOT from just reading posts on here. Thanks in advance. Brian
