Has anybody seen the redesigned clips yet?

It is now available to order. You have to call to order. It doesn't show up on the website but it can be ordered along with the inserts. They had a post about the availability on Facebook the other day. I ordered and received an email saying it should arrive at my home on oct 12th.

Cadman, Thanks for the explanation. That make perfect sense I certainly hope that my request for clarification didn't imply that I thought you were coming of as a know-it all or arrogant person. If it did I apologize as that was not my intent. I thought maybe it had to do with the angle of the hook eye.

Cadman, Can you expand on why you personally wouldn't use an Aberdeen hook for bass fishing? I have the FBW-4-AF mold as well as the FBB-4H-AFM. I respect your option and the knowledge that you share with this board. I would like to try and understand your thought process on this type hook? Thanks

Hey Guys, I am gonna start pouring the Poison Tail and Snootie jigs shortly. I have never poured a jig that had eyes before so I know nothing about the eyes and the best colors to use. I know that with the various colors, sizes & styles the possibilities are endless. I want to keep it simple. What color eyes would you recommend? The basic jig head colors will be Black, Black w/Blue Flake, Watermelon, Green Pumpkin, Brown and occasionally Blue. I would like to limit it 2 or 3 colors in the various sizes. Thanks Mark

Here is a photo comparison of the Eagle Claw L2724BP 4/0 vs Mustad 32724BLN vs Hook in question. The Eagle Claw is the top hook. Mustad is in the middle. Both are good hooks. Slightly bigger than the hook in question but for all practical purposes should serve the purpose. I am also considering the Mustad 91768BLN. It is a EWG hook and comes in a 2/0 and 3/0 size if I wanted to go smaller. What do you guys think about a EWG hook vs round bend? Does it effect the hookup ratio and which style do you guys prefer? Many thanks to cadman for the sample hooks for the comparison.

It doesn't appear that the 32724 or the Eagle Claw L2724 come in a 3/0. What is the length of the 4/0. I measured 1.843 on the hook I have. Thanks for your help guys.

i am wanting to make a silicon jig mold and this is the hook that is in the Jig I am trying to duplicate. Any ideas who makes the hook or what a good alternate hook would be. The hook is pictured on 1/8" grid paper and the hook is .046 down close to the hook eye.

I was thinking of jig's in the 1/4oz to 3/4oz. Could you expect to get 2 molds? 4 molds? 8 mold? I don't have any idea how much material the 2.75lb Quart kit contains or how many molds it might make. Say the molds are 4" x 4" and 2' thick?

How many single cavity molds could you expect to get out of the 2.75lb Quart Kit?
