I mix the glitter with the KBS

KBS is pretty forgiving stuff...you can count on about 6 mos at least of usable time before it begins to break down. I even left the lid off once all night (duh) it still was fine. Mason jar is a must.

I generally charge $15 give or take for crank baits...I media blast to give a better appearance and keep the integrity of the bait(weight and action) as close to original as possible.

I am not going to lie, this forum is like beating a dead horse. People will order from only who or what they know. I would rather choose quality over cost. All I know is that Predator, Unpainted, Dakota, Get Bit, and Dinger have great quality. I don't mean to leave any suppliers out, I just haven't ordered from any others or if they weren't mentioned, i have ordered from them and don't think quality is in their vocabulary.
I agree, I thought if you could get a variety of quality baits (key on quality) that people would be willing to pay a little extra...ultimately cheap wins out. Makes it difficult to compete with. I ordered some baits from the individual...wanted to see how they could sell so cheap. I received them and found out. I would use them for personal use but would not sell them. I pay more at my cost than he charges retail. He sells a lot so more power to him. Mine are not perfect but we try as does Dinger and others mentioned. Thanks

I think the bluegill is the most challenging ....I've worked on that one most over the years. I use 14 color changes in mine (that's where the challenge comes in...lol)

Micron 005 pen, the only one that ever runs is the red, if you use black you are good to go...I too had problems with Sharpie running (sorry...I hadn't clicked on the link of the post before) He's right!!! haha

I actually was just commenting on the fact that there really is a market for the cheap stuff...I would rather have and or sell quality. In my opinion you I would rather use and sell better quality but I don't begrudge those that want to save a few bucks. No harm was intended by my comments...sorry if I did not make it clear

The funny thing is that I have found higher quality manufacturers...but, roughly 20% higher cost...they are perfect and ready for paint without much effort at all...people gripe they are too expensive and will go back to the junk because it is cheaper...

Was it shaken well when you sprayed? Reason being....I use that a lot (spray) and have not had a peeling issue. In addition I know of guys that have used it to prevent stone chips on car hoods and is has not peeled.
I usually do 3 coats as well
