  1. Thank you for your input :) Your attention and comments work as motivation to move further on... for me, personally, it is great success to present for a customer jerkbait which is developed in a manner "top-notch"  :)

  2. Hi. Actually, where and here have been not used any tricks to obtain these scales. However, these things should be taken into the consideration: a mesh should be enough thick (advice – avoid thin mesh); secondly, the airbrushing should be gentle, meaning – avoid the abundance of air and paint that is lead to the painting beneath the mesh and final point from these three is to use high capacity clips to keep mesh firmly on jerkbait/bait/lure. I hope this has helped you.

  3. Do you use a corkscrew to attach the tail?

Yes, on this lure a corkscrew is used to fix the tail.

I'm not too familiar with musky fishing, does a glider walk-the-dog underwater?

Right, this lure acts like walk-the-dog under water (left, right, left, right), like in army :) but possible to achieve more interesting movements of the lure than advanced twitches or jerks used to animate the lure.

Thank you for support. The purplish colour and other glowing colours had been obtained from http://www.uvgear.co.uk/index.htm

So, UV paints were used to cover tangerine parts and belly. Using UV paints you can reach nice effects. food for thought... for instance, firstly to cover a surface by UV paint and secondly to paint by regular paint details on UV layer, so as result you will have really nice pattern glowing in the dark... more or less the same as Halloween party :)

  5. Real skin is real skin 'borrowed' (removed from a fish) from a perch. You can obtain very nice source of information about how to attach real skin watching SolarFall YouTube channel or his blog.

    very nicely done ;)

    Thank you, Mikko ;)

The steps are following: two layers of epoxy to protect a wood; covered in white to create background for the following layer; brushed glitter glue; covered by epoxy layer to even the surface; airbrushing; two layers of epoxy as clear coat.

  7. Hook

Thank you for the evaluation and positive feedback.

Yes, the real hook is embedded in the top coat. After long research in my brain, I have come to the solution to use a real hook as my logo for my lures. The hook is a tricky thing to attach to a lure, but finally have figure out the way to fix hook in the desired position and direction.

  8. These tails are prety cool. Flexible enought to vibrate even than lure is sinking. Where and who makes these tails, I do not have information, but originaly it is fishing twister, just the body of twister is cut.

    Absolutely stunning!

Hi, Ben. Thank you for your evaluation. I have looked at your lures displayed on your Internet site and your approach to the matter and execution is on the highest level. Let us hope, that lures will be appreciated by toothy predators. Best, Ed
