  1. bench mount professional skirt making tool
  2. Thank you. That is exactly what I lost and want to replace. The site fooled me because I looked under “Tools” at first. Unfortunately they are out of stock. Anyone have one to sell/trade?
  3. I have seriously lost my tool and am not seeing its replacement on Barlow’s, etc. It was green, about 10”-12” long and about 4” wide. Bought it several decades ago. Ideas on getting a replacement are most welcome.
  4. I put together a jig business. With a couple pros making marketing videos for the website it drew attention. I focused on selling wholesale and made personal calls to stores. The pandemic helped tremendously because I had ordered plenty of materials and they were manufactured here in the USA, so no supply issues. Recently sold the company to a bigger outfit. It was interesting and profitable but good luck was definitely a factor.

    Molds

I’m not making plastic anymore but have 159 aluminum injection molds, with most being multiples. Craws, Swimbaits, worms, grubs, centipedes, senkos, etc. And, of course, all the accoutrements like injectors, presto with stirrers, tints, glitter, etc. there are also dozens of open pour molds. Seeking ideas for best/easiest way to sell all or most of it at once and willing to provide a very deep discount to sell in a single transaction. Molds are all high quality in great shape. Not sure how where/how to sell it. The classifieds here move slowly, probably because most everyone has what they want already. is eBay my only real option? Your thoughts are most welcome.
  6. I also cut & then file. A damp paper towel on my bench catches the small filings.

    Wire Size

What gauge wire is best for tying jig skirts? I tie with 210 thread but want to finish with the wire.
  8. Never mind. I finally dislodged the obstruction.
  9. The RCBM Pro Lead Furnace has me stumped. Hot lead only dribbles, a drop at a time, even fully opened. I emptied it, cleaned and wire brushed it thoroughly but saw no way to remove the nozzle and fear reaming it with a drill bit. There is clearly a blockage on interior of nozzle but I don’t know how to clear it. Suggestion are most welcome
  10. The worm does move differently but I have to say, I’ve no idea why that is effective
  11. I have several (k)ut tail worm molds in size 4.5 inches, that Dell made, and would like to find some in 6” size. Thoughts & recommendations are most welcome.
  12. I’m considering removing the paddle tail on my 5” Swimbaits and putting in a screwloc blade. Have you tried it?
  13. The Lil Nasty is a great hook in my experience and would be my first choice
  14. Are there hooks that fit this mold, other than Mustad 91768BLN ?
  15. Please recommend a good Twin Tail Grub injection mold.
  16. Loctite brushable super glue works well

    Skirt mold wanted

    For making “hula grubs”
  18. I tie these for freshwater stripers & big bass on clear water Ozark reservoirs. As is not uncommon, I get carried away and make too many. I usually reserve “overstock” for charity benefit events but those have fallen off since pandemic.
  19. Rant warning. I admit to becoming increasingly annoyed by point-of-purchase extra costs, from tipping at drive thru food service, to “technology fees”, etc. I was just online buying some supplies from LPO and upped my order to get the free shipping (over $150) but upon checkout, with $158 in my cart, next window shows $2 “shipping” charge. Upon final checkout the $2 is listed as “handling”. I know it’s a small amount but it feels disingenuous. I deleted the order.
  20. Who makes the best skirt mold for making a “Hula” grub?
  21. LOL, I plan to make some more. My buddies took all of them to use in a tournament here on Bull Shoals. I will make some more in a couple weeks.
