Thanks for the help guys. These heads will most likley be used only in freshwater for a soft swimbait head. I will try to order a couple packs of hooks today and let you know how it turns out. Love the site by the way!!!

Hey guys, I just got my new do-it shad head jig mold in the mail yesterday. The only hooks I saw that would fit this mold are the eagle claw 630 & 635 hooks. I was kinda dissapointed in the sharpness of these hooks. I have been pouring about 10 other styles of jigs for a while now and have always used mustad jig hooks with good results. Does anyone know of a good sharp hook that will fit this mold? I'll mainly be pouring the 1/4oz, 1/2, oz and 3/4 oz heads. Thanks Adam

Hey guys, Brand new to the site, love it already. I have been pouring and powder painting my own jigs for over a year now and have tried every way I could think of to clean the paint out of the hook eye cleanly. I have yet to find a way that makes a really clean hole. I was just curious as to what you guys do to keep the hook eye clean. Thanks in advance.
