  1. Thank you. Bought and did one of those I cant remember if it was the Sammy or the White Walker, its with my tackle up at the lake, Ill have to check it out.
  2. Thanks BBM but I got one of those from predator, and did it up, it came out pretty good but I found it a little light. I guess I can just dig up all my old Spooks. I'm gonna try a wood one. Hillbilly whats the white walker I'm not familure with that, or is it the same plug.
  3. Other then the wood, can unpainted plastic spook body's be obtained? Preferably the larger super spooks.
  4. Which is the exact one I have. Thanks Fishsticks.
  5. I watched a video in where an artist advised removing the brush tip for fine lines, when I do this my brush stops shooting paint. I tried a needle adjustment to no avail. Anyone?
  6. Iv been using black and white which is obviously gray, however when top coated gives a better silverish appearance. Maybe try a drop of the pearlized in this. For true silver i would think a foil of some sort would be needed.
  7. As an avid frog fisherman in the thick grass of Florida, there's times when they want the bait paused over the bed, the beds down here are in fields of grass weeds pads and anything else you can imagine, that's hard to do with rubber toads because they sink down on the bed ( which at times is great in itself) the baits first pictured look like they would suit this need the best. I'm afraid the mouse head would get caught up in our area. Those are really cool.
  8. New to tackle painting, old to fishing. A little lurking has already helped me immensely. Thanks in advance for the patience in fielding my stupid questions.
  9. Maybe next time I should search the topic before I ask the question. OK lets change it to can the scale cloth be washed after using it as a stencil or used again, or is that not worth the mess. Thanks Dave
  10. I ordered some scale cloth with the assumption its to be used as a stencil, upon receiving it Im thinking it can be applied directly to the bait, how wrong or right am I and if applied would it be painted or dyed to achieve the color? Signed: Clueless in Florida.
  11. Does the Diamond finish effect the createx or do you treat it before applying.?
  12. ..to the forum and to lure painting. I came across the forum while looking for tips and info and thought it seemed helpful. I'm assuming this is the introduction page, been Bass fishing forever and always toyed with my plugs, I finally jumped in. I hope y'all excuse any stupid questions, fishing I know, tackle making not so much. Its always good to enter a new forum with a misspelled title, it shows the members what theyll be dealing with.
