Blade eye

I am fairly new to this lure making game but have always followed the hook size required on the mold. Question I have is on my Do-it wire keeper mold is says mustad 32756 hook. Well on a site for hooks I found a heck of a deal on the 32755 hooks and it says short shank. It also states after the 32755 that it is the old 32756 hook. I have found nothing about the 32756 being a short shanked jig and just wanna be sure I am not missing something here before I order a 1,000 hooks.

Quick question here.....With jig molds they all have the lead collars which I HATE due to the ripping the plastic up and it does not hold up after about 2 fish at most....Most times I run a wire collar on the hook shank itself but can not find this available at all online. Is it possible to fill in the collar with JB weld to not have this lead collar? Also would not mind find a way to add the wire shank as well Here is an example picture of what I mean for the collar. Thanks
