  2. I have same issue to this thread which is why I am looking at presto pot method with stirrer to improve productivity. See my recent post for which the guys/gals on the forum are helping to identify which stirrer motor will work. I also have issues with wasted time between shoots reheating and overall I also found the baits are different colors toward the last pour (tried heat stabilizer, heating slow and constant stirring, pouring at same temps etc etc)
  3. Thanks appreciate that. I'll get in touch with them first.
  4. Agree. Dont feel like playing trial and error over it.. I'll try to get that model sent over to my area if not crazy expensive for shipping. If not will let you guys know another model I pursue. Thanks for the honest opinions.
  5. Just seems like I have one option here to go with the mcmaster model. Or try to understand the stepper motor option which seems to need a controller. Agree I don't want to gamble on something which isn't going to work which is why I am asking if there are alternatives which I can purchase closer to home. I'll keep searching the forum.
  6. Would this worm gearmotor work? 20 rpm high torque. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01M27TFBO/ref=sspa_mw_detail_2?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B01M702U6C&pd_rd_w=QZ7fx&pf_rd_p=7d088b91-6713-4853-934e-8bffcfaf92e2&pd_rd_wg=R2s1U&pf_rd_r=S1GCSDA1BWWD99FPT74N&pd_rd_r=bd9f6fc4-5980-418c-877b-d7261f961b1e&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExOEZCOEhMMlIxWFJaJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMTcxODk4OURONFM5SExGWkc1JmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAzMjg1NjUySTkwTlgwVzRPR1k3JndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfcGhvbmVfZGV0YWlsX3RoZW1hdGljJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ&th=1
  7. Judgie where abouts are you in Ontario? I'll pay you but not for your baits but walking me through the bait making process. I'm just starting out. Pm me. I don't have to worry bout selling bc 1)my baits are crap 2)output is on par right now for about 6 baits per couple hour
  8. I have someone local selling this model gearmotor Molon Z80U. Wondering if anyone has come across it. Can't find any specs online. He says runs about 45 rpm at gearbox. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-other-business-industrial/st-catharines/gearmotor/1497134224
  9. Thanks Travis. Yes exactly looking for something local which I can pick up. So from what I gather. Rpm: 20 to 25 Single phase, not split capacitor? Torque: above 20lbs? Amount of plastic at one time, I am not sure yet as I want a motor which could handle lower to high amounts. There seems to be alot of variables here which I must consider in the set up.
  10. What about this one? Seems most comparable to the McMaster model you mentioned https://www.grainger.ca/en/product/AC-GEARMOTOR%2C25-RPM%2COPEN%2C115V/p/DMD52JE30
  11. Used a few times. Asking 50 plus shipping extra depending your location. Swim ripper swimbait mold. 4.5" Single cavity.
  12. Thanks will do. Appreciate your guidance on this.
  13. Thanks Apdriver. Is there a way to slow it down with that motor? Sorry for the stupid questions.
  14. Thanks guys. Would this motor work? It's a 60 rpm gear.motor ..I'm not sure what specs to look for. https://www.grainger.ca/en/product/GEARMOTOR-60-RPM-AC/p/DMD2Z829
  15. anyone willing to sell theirs or make one to sell?
  16. Thanks! So looks like rpm wise 20 to 25 is ideal from reading posts. Can anybody else share what model motor they are using.
  17. Can someone please recommend the model motor they are using on their presto pot stirring system. How many rpm etc. Pictures are welcome. Also how you are connecting stir rod to the motor. Thanks
  18. I see. Ya its a round head inward facing keeper 90 degree jig head. I'll try the glue durine tying as.well
  19. Munkin how are the blades from countbass? Are thick? The first hole closest to head is it smaller compared to other 2 where the clip connects?
  20. Good input here. Was thinking same on how to improve. I will try both t oven and pan to see which is working better for me to speed process up, and report.
