I've had ex74 not set up right and remain tacky for a few days. Then reg etex over it, could that be the problem? Doesn't happen to all baits, but foils especially. Thanks. . Most baits sit for at least a day from pant to clear

Lately I've noticed a few lures painted with createx and cleared with etex seem to expand and bubble if sitting out in hot sun. Is this normal for etex baits? Once brought inside or put in water the go back to normal with no cracks or anything

EX74 is made by the same company as etex. Basically its etex that cures faster and has uv inhibitors. I'll try it and see how it goes.

If I put a coat of etex on a bait paint it. Then would it be ok to do my final 2 layers of clear with ex74? Thanks

I've tried a few times, and haven't perfected one yet. I've had smallmouth hit 7" gliders before while musky fishing.
