  1. I like the the two ideas. I have my set up similar to the photo Arkie posted. I already have hemo's, and may give that a try. The Aligator clips might work better since the hemo's I have are pretty long. I'd have to check the height or adjust the height possibly. Thanks again everyone. The Great tips are appreciated. Here's a photo of how I had to do the last one. It's just a photo finish, but I wanted to do something less complicated until I figured out how to secure it to the rotisserie.
  2. I'm in the process of repainting some lipless crankbaits. I just finished 3 LuckyCraft LVR's and it was a real pain in the rear setting them up to turn on the turner with epoxy. I ended up running some wire between the belly eye and the tail eye of the bait. Twisted it till it was tight and didn't move. I'm wondering if there is an easier way to put these on the turner to dry. Thanks in advance for any replies.
  3. Thanks guys for sharing your experience with the newbie. Certainly appreciated.
  4. Thanks guys. I'm assuming that the Etex drys slower or runs more than other hardners? I looked at rotisarres and will probably have to get one if I plan on using this stuff, but it will be best for the long haul. Thanks
  5. Any cheaper suggestions? I'm having a hard time finding something that will work at a decent price. The two part I'm using costs even more.
  6. I had a sales guy try to sell me this one step epoxy the other day, but wasn't willing to bite until I did some research. Has anyone tried this clear coat on their crankbaits? Component Systems Waterbased Seal Coat?
  7. Newbie here. Lots of great information on this website. I just started carving some wood crankbaits out. I'm looking for something to do the fine trim or minor details to the paint jobs. Has anyone used Deco or any other Paint Markers for touch up? Will it keep the Epoxy from curing propery on it? Thanks in advance for any replies.
