Is a hair dryer ok for heat setting and how long should I dry it for? Or, should I invest in a heat gun?

Hey everyone, I just started painting my own lures. I was wondering how long you have to wait between shooting different colors on the bait (after it's primed)? Also, can I use a hair dryer for heat setting the paint? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I bought a few clear crankbait blanks the have the "eye sockets" for 3d stick on eyes. I wanted to fill some of them and paint eyes on. I was wondering what would be the best stuff (epoxy, silicone, etc..) to use for this ? If you can give me a name brand and where to buy it, I would appreciate it. thanks.

Hi everyone, I'm just getting into painting baits and was wondering what are some good jerkbait colors? There are golden shiners, perch, bluegill, bullhead, pickerill, and largemouth bass in the main lake I fish, but wondering what colors on a jerkbait would be good for bass fishing. Thanks
