  3. i'd love more info on this as i'd love to be able to rotomold hollow frogs......
  4. If you are looking for life like, go to a Taxidermy supply house and order a resin bait fish ( they make them all ) they make a mold of that. the only issue i've found with this is the life like ones don't swim well with out lots of modifications to the master
  5. Damn that sucks.... how you recover soon man!
  6. i look forward to seeing the results. I've been making my replications in smooth on 325. i like it because its VERY workable after it sets and i use my rotary tool to make adjustments to the model.
  7. I've considered it and have even started experimenting with it. The issue i see with multiple cavity molds is needing multiple exact replica's. for this won't you always need to make atleast one single cavity mold?
  8. I've had alot of success using RC hobby paints (the non water soluble ones), the lacquer based paints seem to leave the color and the rest of the stuff evaporates out. i just add a little more hardener to firm up the plastic.
  9. I've used SMOOTH-ON MoldStar 30 with no problems at all..
  10. I spoke with adam at smooth on today and sculpey is fine with there platinum sil products... I spoke with adam at smooth on today and sculpey is fine with there platinum sil products...
