You can do a patent search at uspto.gov

Thanks everyone!
MerryChristmas!

What do you guys use to clean your molds when they start getting an oily build up?
-
Jacobs baits

Biggest issue is making sure all colors are the same temp!

Very nice! Which mold is the fluke? I have one, but don’t remember where I got it!
-
I believe so, even though I have not had them do that.

Elru,
are you filling the sprue after you inject to keep the plastic moving as it cools and pulls into the mold? keep it full until it stops sucking it in.
-
Increase your temp 10-20 degrees. Also make sure you are using metal to stir your plastic.
-
I would say Purple, black and violet hi-lite.
-
What are you using to stir? I would suggest something stainless steel. If you are using something wood it could be adding bubbles. Just my opinion.

Lurecraft has a 7 1/4" sink-o 4 cavity

Monte not sure but I like it!

Sam,
I would take you up on that. What colors would you want?
Pm me and we can work out the details.

The chemical fumes are pretty harsh on your lungs. When I am going to pour more than a few baits I open a front 10X10 overhead door, and the rear 10X14 overhead door and let the breeze blow thru. If there is no breeze I have three box fans I place under the back door, and a pedestal fan I place at one end of my pouring bench.
If that isn't an option you might consider a full window fan in your basement window and replaceable cartridge type painters respirator mask. I have one of those too.
I would also place your pouring bench directly under the window and keep the basement door open to maximize airflow and draw fumes directly out.
X10!!

I haven't tried it I have a Jacobs machine. I will say that Glue viscosity and Soft plastic is night and day different. I would be extremely surprised if it worked at all just for that reason.

try strawberry red and white. Play with mixture to match.

The soft plastic Pop R was made in the 90's thus prior art and product. The patent should not be valid. See the link below and you will see it is exactly what the patent describes!
-
I am not sure the patent would hold up. Plenty of poppers, plunkers, chuggers for 50+years. Some examples can be seen here. http://www.joeyates.com/rarest.htm
Prior art or even prior use before the patent application would invalidate the patent. A patent is easy defending it is the hard part!

MF has been the best I have seen.
