MF has some fluorescent glitters. Haven't used them though.

I like the arky head myself and I make them on the poison swing head. The blade thumps the head good on the arky to the point it's wearing down the lead.

For bass baits .015 and .040 I like .025 and use the .040 to accent.

I like spike it glitter. They have a .025 size that nobody else has. 

[Herring Head Underspin Problem]

I have the same problems with the 1/4oz. I don't use soft lead I actually use bird shot. It's a 95% lead to 5% aninimity

Fshnh2 I mostly use the 1/4 oz. with a size 3 willow. I run a Do-It 3.75" essential series swimbait on it or a 3.8" keitech variation on there. I mostly fish it along weed lines and lay downs.

I always have one tied on. I flat tore them up from March thru October last year. Bass hammered it when they hit it.

I have the top inject 639 and for the life of me I cannot get the ribs to fill out right. I have tried heating the mold, shooting the plastic hotter and cooler, and holding pressure for various amounts of time, and injecting at different speeds.

I use both. I made my plate so I get a half out of each side of the mold. I use the plate mainly to save plastic. Some molds though require the dual injector to do laminates. Like stated it is faster.

I think you injected the second color to fast and the second color lifted and shot around the half already in the mold. That would explain the lack rings and the black being flat.

Use a little oil on the tail being careful not to get any where the connection is. I do this on my 1.5" thump grub, works good.

I used the basstackle one one a underspin and caught fish. Didn't have much action on the underspin though. I could see it being a food jerkbait on a weighted hook.

I have that mold and it is awesome. Very good action on a chatterbait. I have never used the LFT magic shad to compare however.

I tested out a bladed swinging poison tail today that I just cut the line tie loop open at the bottom and flush against the head and opened up just enough to get the blade in then closed it back up and it worked fine.
