  1. Watermelon with a drop or two of green pumpkin. .035 black flake with .015 red, purple and gold flake.
  2. The line tie is what I would be using the oval rings for, circle for the hook hangars. I guess I could have worded that part a little better! Thanks, Bob!
  3. Hey guys, since the site updated I haven't been able to get the search function to work correctly for me so excuse me if this question has been asked prior. Just wanted to know what size oval split rings you guys are running on your cranks. I wasn't sure if one standard size should work for all or what. Also, what size O rings are you using on your hook hangers? Will be painting wiggle wart, Little John MD, Fat Pappa, 110's, 1.5 and 2.5's and I'm sure others as well. Already have plenty of 2, 4, and 6 size trebles so I will mix and match those as I go. Thanks in advance for all the advice I appreciate it!
  4. Following the trends of the past few years, it's my thought if Auburn loses badly in the bowl game and doesn't perform well next season he will be fired. Part of that is this culture of "I want success and I want it now" that we have in the SEC where everyone expects new coaches to come in and just win somewhat like Saban did at Alabama but that's just not practical. The job Saban has done at Alabama is phenomenal. From top to bottom that entire program is top notch and the depth Saban has been able to build in all facets of the game (minus his kicker!) is truly impressive and the envy of every team in the country.
  5. I have the stuff from spike it and use a microwave. It's usually good on the first couple shots for me but will start to change color once I reheat it a couple times even when watching my temps
  6. Keep in mind that flake is VERY temp sensitive.
  7. Martin is a damn hard lake to fish, at least that has been my experience with it. I'm so used to flipping grass and other vegetation that I'm nearly lost when I there's no grass to be found haha. I only caught them on Martin throwing a drop shot.
  8. My wife's entire family with the exception of my wife and her aunt who both went to Auburn like I did, went to either Alabama or UAB. So needless to say we're outnumbered but that's alright we have a good time with it. Unfortunately for my team I don't see anything really changing until Malzahn finds another ringer of a quarterback as it is painfully obvious to me that he and the OC can't develop a QB on their own.
  9. Welcome and War Eagle! Maybe I'll see you tossing your lures one day out on the water somewhere in central Bama.
  10. Live just outside of BHam. Lay is my home lake.
  11. I use two injectors and just pulse the two injectors intermittently to get a swirl effect.
  12. As others have said, make sure the mold is oriented as perfectly as can be underneath the press before you shoot it. Another thing you may want to check is the temps of your plastics. They need to be within a few degrees of one another, the closer the better. Some molds can be tricky to laminate. I have a craw from Bob'a that is an absolute pain in the ass to the point I hand pour a belly and then inject.
  13. I have always appreciated that about you, Leonard. It is one of the reasons I have, and will continue, to order the majority of my molds and other supplies from you. You're definitely one of the first places I look when I have some new mold money burning a hole in my pocket!
  14. I've never even caught a fish on a tube and I have thrown them all day before. Guess I'll stick to flipping my beaver style baits unless I go to some smallmouth waters.
  15. Bass tackle treat worm is probably pretty close to what you're looking for. It's caught me a lot of fish, especially the 4" bait
  16. N95 is fine. If it will keep you from contracting TB it will keep you safe from lead fumes. Of course, this is assuming your respirator fits you correctly.
  17. Doesn't look like any cinnamon color I've ever seen. To my eyes, or moreso my screen, it looks like a root beer color with maybe a little motor oil mixed in as well. Small green flake and medium black flake.
  18. My favorite is a couple drops of orange and a few drops of natural to darken and brown it up a little bit.
  19. He makes good molds but gets behind in production sometimes. If you can afford to wait a few weeks to get your mold it is worth the wait.
  20. You can always add a small small amount of white.
  21. High temp polyester glitter is what you need and is readily available online. Some craft glitter works but I would test it out before I put it in a bunch of plastic and ruin an entire batch.
  22. They're tiny glass bubbles. Definitely not good for the respiratory system if inhaled.
  23. Amber brown is too dark for me.
  24. I use the soft for my stick baits as well as my finesse/drop shot baits. I'm sure you can find a use for it.
